NbS2 bulk (2H phase)
Niobium disulfide (NbS2) is a 2D metal (3R-phase) and 2D superconductor (2H-phase) depending on the crystalline phases (3R vs 2H phases). In its 2H-phase, our crystals demonstrate superconducting transition at around 7K. Our NbS2 crystals are grown by two distinct methods as summarized below (CVT vs flux zone). Clean and defect free crystal growth enabled us to create the only commercially available NbS2 vdW crystals with guaranteed CDW and superconducting responses. If your research needs atomically flat NbS2 samples for scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) measurements please contact us.
